The most meaningful learning often continues beyond the weekly lesson. Through rehearsals, collaborative activities, examinations, performances and shared academy experiences, students build confidence, form friendships and discover the joy of making progress together
Where shared experiences bring GRAND values to life
Students develop not only through individual practice, but also through the moments they share with teachers, friends and audiences. These experiences turn Growth, Resilience, Artistry, Nurturing and Dedication into qualities students can understand, practise and carry forward.
The GRAND Experience brings TGMA's values into real situations. Students grow through new challenges, develop resilience through preparation, express artistry through music and movement, experience nurturing support from teachers and peers, and learn dedication by working towards meaningful goals. Participation is recommended according to each student's readiness, level and interests
Opportunities may take different forms throughout the year, from informal class sharing and workshops to examinations, student recitals and larger public performances. Teachers recommend suitable experiences according to readiness, learning level and the purpose of each activity
Long after the rehearsal ends or the stage lights fade, each experience continues to shape the learner. Preparation becomes discipline, challenge builds resilience, collaboration develops awareness, and achievement inspires the confidence to begin the next chapter of their GRAND Journey
